I am an illustrator/graphic designer and entered the face painting world in 2011. I very much love drawing and painting, because of my art background I love being creative. I always try to paint each face differently and I love it when kids request unique faces that are a challenge!
When I am not face painting, I am stuck into my personal illustration projects (normally while listening to music). I use both traditional and digital mediums when I illustrate and especially love using watercolour. Face painting is somewhat similar to watercolour and I think that is one of the reasons why I love my job... But the best part of my job is the moment when kids smile after looking at themselves in the mirror and they love what they see! |
